Ben Folds is not normal, despite the title of his most recently released album,
Way To Normal. The man writes songs unlike any of his contemporaries. He falls off of a stage in Japan, suffers a concussion but proceeds to play the set, and then writes a song relating the details of the event (‘Hiroshima’). And the song becomes a hit.
